What does impasto-inspired mean?

In painting, impasto refers to thickly applied paint that creates raised brushwork. Our canvases are prints, not original impasto paintings. The appearance of brushwork and painted texture is part of the printed image, not a raised paint layer or a texture coating.

Mediterranean inspiration

The artwork draws on Mediterranean subjects such as coastal landscapes, harbour scenes, olive groves and terracotta rooftops. Painterly colour and expressive marks give these familiar scenes a different visual character.

Styling your space

Choose a scene and colour palette that complement your room. Warm tones can work alongside natural wood and neutral furnishings, while coastal blues can echo other colours in your space.

Measure your wall before choosing a size. For multi-panel sets, allow space for the gaps between canvases as well as the panels themselves.

How the canvases are made

Our canvas prints are made to order and stretched over internal wooden stretcher bars, with a gallery-wrapped finish. They arrive ready to hang, without an external decorative frame.

We do not apply varnish, laminate, a protective coating or a raised texture coating.
